Do you shoot in all weather?

Yes! You never know what you're going to get in the mountains so being flexible is key. If the weather is just plain old nasty we can look at rescheduling.

What should I wear for a Banff or Lake Louise photoshoot?

Neutral earthy tones are best all year round. In Summer avoid turquoise — in Winter avoid white or very light colors so you don't blend into the background.

Can I extend the session on the day?

Depending on my commitments or if you feel we haven't captured what you're looking for, sure! Additional fees may apply.

What camera gear do you use?

Sony A7R V mirrorless with 61 megapixels and a GM Sony 24-70mm f2.8 lens. I use natural light only — no flash, tripods, or bounce boards.

Do I have to order prints through you?

No, but it's an option. All images are delivered via online gallery and available for download or print forever. You can also take JPEG files to your preferred printer.

Will I receive all the RAW images?

Only the edited JPEG selection is delivered, for personal use only (prints, wall art, personal social media). Commercial use requires written permission.

Are the images edited?

Yes, all images are edited for a natural, timeless aesthetic. Background distractions are removed where possible.

What should we do to prepare for our photoshoot?

Just bring an open mind and get ready to have fun! If there are specific poses you'd like, feel free to share an image board in advance.

Originally from New Zealand, I moved to the mountains in Banff National Park in 2017 and lived here for 2 years. Loving it so much I decided to make it my permanent home as of June 2022. I feel blessed to be able to call Lake Louise my home and am proud to show it off! In my spare time I enjoy landscape photography, going for walks in nature, experiencing the great cuisine in the area and long road trips exploring this magical part of the world!
